Now Available: Microsoft Live@edu Plug-in for Moodle

The day has come! The Microsoft Live@edu Services plug-in for Moodle is now available to download from Moodle's plug-in directory, here.

If you didn't see the initial announcement, the Moodle and Microsoft Live@edu Services plug-in enables users to:

• Log into courses using their Windows Live ID and display select Live Services on a Moodle site.
• View and compose emails and calendar events within a Moodle site using Outlook® Live
• Access Windows Live Messenger chat and Bing™ search engine within a course.

To celebrate the release, our very own Kwasi Asare, Executive Director of Business Development, sat down with Frank Chiappone, Microsoft's Senior Marketing Product Manager for Live@edu, to discuss Moodle and the various challenges facing today's educational institutions.
