Moodle and the Student Perspective at the Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences

At Moodlerooms, we have regular conversations with education technology specialists from diverse institutions, schools, corporations and organizations. While we generally receive a lot of feedback from these specialists who help maintain content and enrollments for their Moodle instances, unfortunately, we don't get to hear too much commentary from students or faculty that actually use Moodle or joule on a daily basis.

That’s why we wanted to highlight a recent submission from our customers at the Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences, an independent secondary school (grades 6-12) in downtown Seattle, WA. Seattle Academy places a special emphasis on education in the arts and within evolving fields of technology in order to cultivate the analytical, creative and practical skills of its students.

After asking their middle school students, "What do you think of Moodle?" the students used a SMART Board to colorfully capture their comments. Check it out below.

Have your students or faculty submitted feedback on Moodle or joule? Let us know! Email feedback@moodlerooms.com or reply in the comments below. For more on what the Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences is doing with Moodle, stay tuned for the full case study in the coming weeks.

As always, thanks for reading.
