"Flex page is a bit more complex, but it's worth it."
As Moodlerooms Chief Architect, Tom Murdock, states in the beginning of the video, Flex Page is definitely a feature for a more experienced instructor or course facilitator. In a nutshell, the flex page course format allows for the creation of courses with multiple pages and navigational structures (based on topic or unit). Although content is separated on separate pages, it's still contained within a single course.
When building a flex page course, instructors can manage activities and then add them to any one of the pages in the course. It's very much like a miniature repository on the course level where activities (assignments, forums, etc.) are stored and can be implemented on any of the course pages.
Additionally, instructors can manage pages tabs to make them conditionally available, manage their look and feel, and create flexible menus.
