Moodlerooms and Google Apps for Education

Back in October during EDUCAUSE 2010, Moodlerooms had the pleasure of joining Google in their booth to share how we've helped deploy and connect Google's Apps for Education within various education frameworks through Moodle and the enterprise Moodle-based e-learning platform, joule.

Delivering the presentation for Moodlerooms was joule Build Manager, Jason Hardin, who displayed the single sign-on capabilities, automatic user provisioning, and Google Apps widget integration. He also described how Moodlerooms successfully implemented Google Apps for Project KNOTtT, a federally funded partnership of higher education institutions, nonprofits, for-profits, partners and school districts who are addressing the national issue of teacher quality by delivering professional development services for teachers in high-need, hard-to-staff school districts across the nation.
