The HTML block in Moodle is a blank slate for pulling in content dynamically to your course. With the flexible HTML editor, course designers may upload audio or video files directly into their course files area and embed them within content pages. Designers may also add an HTML-based concept map to their Moodle environment or embed content from social media sites like YouTube.com, Vimeo.com or SlideShare.com (to name a few) by copying and pasting the code into an HTML block.
We made the following video to highlight the flexibility of the HTML block and how to embed dynamic content such as Twitter searches right into your course.
